When God gives you Lemons…design some really cool shit

I know it’s the middle of winter and most of my fellow designers are hard at work on their Fall collections.  After all, there is only a little over a month left until Fashion Week starts. However, my mind is wondering more and more towards some carefree warm weather topics like resort. To be more specific – I got lemons on the brain:)  I know you have seen some of those lemon prints from other designers (Stella, Moschino) but the lemon print seems to be most popular in the kitchen as a table cloth or something household related.  That’s why I decided to do a post that makes the topic of lemons more “street” and less “kitchen”:) A great inspiration for me was seeing Jamie King in the Hart of Dixie show wearing some really smashing outfit comprising of lemon print vintage shirt, tucked into high-wasted flare pant. Of course, when you look like Jamie you can wear marinara sauce and look chic so I thought about reworking the look in a way that I would wear it and I designed this…What do you guys think? Would you try this trend when it gets warmer?
